Bolton Wanderers Soccer Club would like to thank all our Platinum Sponsors for all of your continued support.

Over the weekend of July 23-24, the under 16 Boys rep team of the Bolton Wanderers Soccer Club participated in the 2nd Annual Eustace Collins Memorial Tournament in Georgetown.
In the round robin, battling the severe heat, Bolton faced teams from Pelham, North Mississauga and Georgetown and ended up with a 2-1 record, qualifying for the semi-finals.
In the semi-final game the boys played and tough, aggressive London United team, winning 2-1, advancing to the finals.
In the Championship game, the boy’s faced North Mississauga again, a team who is currently playing at the Elite level, a division above the Bolton team.  After watching the North Mississauga team take the lead in the first half, while dominating the second half, Bolton fought back to tie and eventually take the lead in the second half on goals scored by Emanuel Jirjis and Luca Mastropietro.  The game resulted in a 2-1 Bolton win, capturing the U16 Championship.

Congratulations to all the boys on this tournament win.  Thanks to all parents who continue to support the boys and team sponsor’s, Team Lorraine Mondello Century 21 Millennium, Kakoz Kitchens and Custom Cabinetry, KP Construction Inc. and Christian & Company Chartered Accountants.

Long Term Player Development Img
LTPD Is about putting the player first and offering age-appropriate opportunities for kids to enjoy the game of soccer. Making the game fun is key in teaching and coaching, so that players will continue in the game and may even coach or referee as they get older.

Please use the resources the OSA Technical Department has assembled for parents and coaches for Grassroots (U4-U12), Soccer for Life (13+) and Talented Pathway (13+) players.

Read more about LTPD and How Soccer in Ontario Is Changing.

All players must wear shin guards in order to participate.

Players are NOT permitted to wear jewellery (earrings including studs, necklaces, bracelets and watches).

Please make sure your player is hydrated.  Bring a labelled, reusable water bottle to games and practices.

Please show respect for other players, Club officials and, above all, Referees.
